Thanksgiving Fun

We're making these cute things right now. They are turning out precious!

I want to put together a Thanksgiving craft for the cousins to do on Thanksgiving Day. I'm thinking these could be fun.

Got any fun Thanksgiving craft ideas?

We just mailed "turkeys" to all the grandparents made out of the boys hands...we put paint on them and overlapped them on the paper to look like the feathers then cut out a large circle for the body and a smaller one for the head....then you can draw or cut out the feet and beak and other details, even though we were dealing with paint it went very well...

Jalyn just brought home his "indian" costume out of a paper bag, complete with headband, and a pasta necklace...stringing pasta is always fun....just another random idea!

you can cut out a foot print of the child with brown paper (body of the turkey) and both hand prints with colored paper - yellow, red, orange - (feathers).

glue hands behind the foot (toes facing down) and draw (or glue google eyes) onto the foot and draw a beak.

a bit time consuming w/ all the cutting, but a fun way to remember the little size for years to come...
