Today I Turned Old

Tonight I had the perfect opportunity to spray someone "accidentally" with the sprayer on the sink at church.

I didn't.

I really wanted to.

I wanted to see their shocked face.

I wanted to laugh.

I wanted to see all that water not in the sink.

I almost did it.

But I didn't.

I could have easily pulled the trigger, but I paused...I thought...I did not spray them.

I think this is what getting old feels like.

I don't think I like it.

We totally rigged up the sprayer in our kitchen sink one night to spray anyone who turned on the faucet. Do you have any idea how fun it was to sit and wait??? And do you have any idea how hard we laughed when I, the very one who instigated it, walked up and turned on the faucet to get some water?? I got soaked! I had forgotten that we rigged it!

I'm not old! :)

And that's why I love you Melodi!

After tonight I was so sad.

I'm never going to be old ever again.

Consider yourself warned everyone!

Forgiven. But don't let it happen again.
