Our Cute Boxes

Before the "Intervention" Kirby's coupon box looked like...

Yes. She would take this into stores.

But now...look how cute she is!

Remember...
we shamelessly stole this sassy idea from Homespun Heart.

Here's my box. I want to hug it.

And Chelsea's...super cute.

I'm SO ready to go to the store.

If you're expecting Sit a Spell to turn into a coupon blog...it's your sad day.

I'll be the FIRST to admit, I have NO IDEA how this coupon stuff works.

I just make Kirby and Chelsea drag me along with them.

Even the check out girl on one of our expeditions looked at Chelsea, pointed to me and said, "I don't think she really understands what's going on here."

We couldn't argue. I think Chelsea just kind of shrugged...and smiled.

Your boxes are PRECIOUS! Now... PLEASE tell us how you use these bargain getters!! What's your system? And how on EARTH did Kirby get free stuff and knock her $60 bill down to $20 at Kroger??? Does Kroger offer store coupons? I have not found one grocery store in Lafayette that offers store coupons (only Walgreens and CVS it seems offers store coupons). They all accept brand coupons only. Any advice for this super saver wannabe?

Hey Simonne!

YES...Kroger does have store coupons. You have to go to their website and register your Kroger plus card. The BEST thing about Kroger coupons is, that card keeps track of what you buy, so the coupons they send you in the mail are for the exact items you always purchase. They are tailored for you.

Cool, huh?

Oh, please show me more in detail. I am so loving it and will make one this weekend. Where did you get the boxes? Did you use tabs on paper??????? Details details

Carrie!

Okay...you get the box at Macy's. It's part of the Martha Stewart collection. They are on sale for $9 right now, so hurry!

They come in red and green. So cute.

They come with a set of 18 or so dividers. We simply used them to cut out more from white cardstock.

Then, we covered all of our dividers with cute scrapbook paper we already had from making our calendars at Christmas time.

After that, Chelsea laminated them.

What else?

I'm here to help...I mean...in the areas I can.

I'm SO DUMB when it comes to this! I just can't seem to figure it out, and unlike you, Heather, math doesn't scare me. But, at CVS, I feel like an idiot.

And, sadly, no Kroger in Lafayette!

TOO cute!!! Thanks for sharing. Kirby and I had the same coupon boxes before your intervention... I think maybe I should beautify mine too. ;)

The Mosiers love this idea. We are really into the couponing. It has saved us a ton since January. We love legally robbing CVS and Kroger. Thanks for the idea.

Also, check this out:

Its a link to all the printable coupons online. It is constantly updated so its a great resource.

That is too funny. I don't get the coupon thing either regardless of what program I join!

My mom is the coupon master. She saves tons of money by just the coupons from the sunday papers. Seriously she gets deals like Kirby! She has this little card stock folder system for her coupons that is bound like a book but it is small enough to fit in your purse. It is awesome. If I got the paper I would totally clip and organize coupons! :)

I'm so in love with my coupon box that I miss it! It's sitting on my kitchen counter at home, but I had to come to your blog just to look at it since I'm in Dallas waiting for my friend to have a baby!

and seeing as im not the most organized person in the world, i need all the organizational help i can get.

so if you could post those tab labels id be very grateful!

Oh you are good! I went to Maci's and got a container like yours. Well it's red and not on sale BUT I found a way to justify getting it!! It's my weekend project! LOVE LOVE LOVE you for taking time to add the categories!!!

the bags tab is for ziploc bags, trash bags, and i also put foil or ziploc container coupons under that section, too.

under "paper products" is stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, kleenex, etc.
